CD Design
Since the last post I made, I have continued with further projects based on perspective and CD design. Perspective was aimed mainly for the illustrators on our course with graphic designers focusing mainly on shapes, and the outcome being drawn proof of learning how to use perspective in design. For the CD design project we were given an artist and track to then create the CD casing for. My provided artist and track was The Lemonheads - The Outdoor Type. The song is focused on a man who lies to his girlfriend about being an outdoors person, where he really he just stays inside. We had to create our case reflecting the meaning of the song.

Project 4: Typefaces
'Ladies of the Night' is the title I have chosen for my film. I've researched into a few typefaces that could be used for the final poster. I mainly looked at ones which resemble femininity, with this being the reason why I kept to lowercase letters (apart from typeface 2 which doesn't have the option of being able to use the typeface in lowercase). Even though you would class prostitution as rough, I'm going to juxtapose this by showing that they are still women.

Project 4: Poster Research
Posters that I have researched into for inspiration from to help give me ideas towards creating my film poster. Even though some of these are badly designed, they can relate to the film our group created, which followed the life of a prostitute. Sourced books include 'film posters of the 60s' and 'Gig Posters: Rock Show Art of the 21st Century - Volume 1'.
Project 4: Creating a poster for your film
With our films successfully finished, we now have to create a poster to promote the film. I've began this by researching into posters for existing documentary film making.

Fly on the wall
Existing film/tv recordings that focus on filming with use of the fly on the wall technique. This has been our assigned genre to film in. With these we will focus on the different angles, zooming in and how many frames used within 30 seconds.
