Random inspirational Film Posters blog post
A few film posters I found on pinterest.com that have taken my interest... literally. What I love about these are the colours used and how artistic they are, compared to those you usually see with just a photograph of the main lead as the focus.

Before Watchmen covers
These are photos of the latest issues of the 'Before Watchmen' series. The colour coordination on the 'Ozymandias' issue caught my attention mainly out of all the issue covers so far. The neutral blue and red work well together with the composition of the image facing downwards. The 'Silk Spectre' issue drew my attention to the 1960s Design in Context project I am currently working on. The use of psychadelic bold colours resemble the end of that decade.

Illustrative Gig Posters
I recently purchased 'Gig Posters: Volume 2' By Clay Hayes of GigPosters.com which features 101 illustrated band posters, which are all removable. Six posters stood out to me the most of those published, which I have photographed and listed below. I'd highly reccommend to purchase this book as it is a great resource for illustrated typography.
